Litchfield by the Sea

Litchfield by the Sea is a private resort community offering vacation homes, condominiums, and villas neatly placed along pristine ocean frontage located between Litchfield and North Litchfield Beaches. This premier resort offers one mile of easy access to the beach and amenities that are unequaled in the Pawleys Island area. This wide sandy beach is approximately a seven mile stretch of beach, starting from the southern tip of Litchfield and the neighborhoods of Inlet Point South and The Peninsula, stretching North, in front of the beautiful homes of North Litchfield Beach, and along the natural, unobstructed dunes of Huntington Beach State Park and Atalaya Castle, on up to where the Murrells Inlet jetties meet the Atlantic Ocean.

Along with the beach and ocean, Litchfield by the Sea amenities include community swimming pools, an oceanfront clubhouse with sundeck and pavilion overlooking the beach, a wheel chair beach ramp, bathrooms, and water fountains. Beach showers to rinse off the sand and salt water are conveniently located on the walkways to the beach. Other amenities for guests include tennis and pickleball courts, miles of walking/jogging paths, a fishing lake with pier and a marsh overlook with floating dock and a 24 hour guard gate.

Litchfield by the Sea is conveniently located near golf courses, a variety of restaurants for dining, grocery stores, coffee shops, and the great shops of Pawleys Island. Brookgreen Gardens is 5 miles North with famous sculpture exhibits and gardens as well as Huntington Beach State Park and the famous Atalaya Castle, former residence of Archer Huntington and Anna Hyatt Huntington, built in the early 1900s. Murrells Inlet is about seven miles North, with water sports and activities of all varieties, and the Murrells Inlet Marshwalk winds around the banks of the salt water creek, intermingling with waterfront restaurants with outdoor dining and live entertainment under the cabanas.
